Hivern records has started a new series that will consist of one-sided 12-inches featuring uncredited tracks from the current Hivern pool of of artists. Each edition will be limited to 100 copies and will only be available from the Hivern Discs online store. The first is titled “It’s All Over” and is said to almost be sold out. Mykki Blanco – “HAZE.BOOGIE.LIFE” Video
If there are only two things you need to know about this post, it is that Mykki Blanco has a sick ass weave and the beat to this song is crazy sick. Although the video is completely insane (in the best way possible), the beat doesn’t go completely dub-step hard, which makes way for the lyrics to come through and lets Blanco do his thang. I am really down with this track, especially if I am trying to dance at 2 am in a dirty discothèque. You feel me though? Well…you will after you watch the video. Enjoy!
Stay+ – “Crashed”
Stay+ is a duo from Manchester who’ve been churning out bass music for a bit and will probably be waiting for “Crashed” to be picked up by house DJ’s. It’s got all the right ingredients for a rave setting, which, well, we’ll let you decide whether that’s a good or bad thing. I’ve definitely gone back to this track for a replay over the past few days, kind of gives me hope that not all house tracks are overplayed or simply done for.

Skinny Friedman – Trap Rave 2.0
Skinny Friedman’s newest releaseTrap Rave 2.0 which you can download (for free!) right here, just came out on Tuesday but I have no been able to turn it off since. Not much to say about this album except that it is an instant banger and I’ll be bumping this for all of finals week. Check out some of the tracks below (my favorite being “Beez in the Trap”).

Trentemøller Covers The Gun Club’s “My Dreams”
After finishing up a world tour and releasing some remixes while on the road, Anders Trentemøller has announced that, in spirit of the remixes and covers, he will be releasing a cover of The Gun Club’s “My Dreams” and an acoustic cover of the tracks as well. Both will be featuring Marie Fisker (yes, the one you probably know from “Moan”, whose voice makes you want to do just that). As an added bonus, if you pick up a digital copy of the album you’ll also receive a cover of Chris Issac’s “Blue Hotel”.
