A while back while working on a short self-release EP, I decided to break down, record, and tab out some of my favorite electronic tunes.
I think it’s important to figure out electronic music on traditional instruments because not everybody has a synthesizer. Ever thought to yourself, “man, I love that synth line, but I don’t have fuckin’ $4,000 for a Nord Stage Ex.” Well, perhaps I could be of assistance.
If time allows, I’d like to sit down and figure out some Boards of Canada tracks sometime for bass and guitar arrangement…any suggestions?
Anyways, included is an mp3 of my little cover of Aphex Twin’s 4, plus a tab that maps out everything on bass guitar.
