LA River Swim Team

The LA River used to be the only source of water for fellow Angelenos.  Now it’s the source of a formidable swim team/band.

Based in the city of Lawndale, The LA River Swim Team is a trio of talent with a versatile style of alternative rock (described by the band as “aquatic party rock”).  Only playing with feelgood vibes, every word, strum, and beat is made to make you dance, so no need to sit or lean and get all moody and introspective on us.

The band plays to create awareness for the real LA River and also plays for charities such as the American Cancer Association, WE CAN, and the Sojourn Women’s Shelter.  The band also plays community benefits for Haiti disaster relief, and other charitable endeavors.

We at WGWit share LARST’s concerns for helping the greater good, so keep an eye out on our calendar for our community events as well as our shows!
