My friend showed me a Kanye x Radiohead mash-up the other day which I was instantly interested in. After searching for the song on my own, I had found that it was Xaphoon Jones who had done the lovely remix. If you don’t know Xaphoon Jones, he makes up one half of Chiddy Bang. A while ago I had posted some Chiddy Bang remixes which were more hip-hop focused. Xaphoon sticks to the electronic/dubstep side of things. Chiddy Bang, “Here We Go”
Chiddy Bang is releasing their new Preview EP on Oct. 12th. Judging by this track off the EP, it’ll probably be worth copping for yourself. Featured rapper Q-Tip flows off of this new track “Here We Go”, an epic, upbeat hip-hop track that lays it on fat with retro synths and lo-fi goodness. There’s even a little wobbly bass action going on, which some of you dubheads might’ve caught on to.
