Here at WGWI, we talked about Tarantino before and about just how awesome Django Unchained looks…but compared to The Man with the Iron Fists, I am not sure how Django Unchained will hold up. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that I have lived in Irvine now for two years, the fact that this has Lucy Liu in it, and a Wu Tang Clan member is the director and screenwriter, but The Man With the Iron Fist is going to be one hell of a movie.

In true Eli Roth style, the script is ridiculous and Grindhouse-y, which is perfect for everyone who enjoyed Machete and Death Race, but for the rest of you, this is not a movie for you. Being ridiculous for the shock value is the device used all throughout this movie, and it is best to not analyze it and just enjoy the ride.

Going just by the trailer, the soundtrack to The Man with the Iron Fists is going to be just as awesome as the movie itself. Not only does the trailer include songs from the Black Keys, Wiz Khalifa, Wu-Tang Clan, but also (wait for it…) Kanye West (!) and RZA himself. All the more reason to get pumped for this release.

Oh, also, Russel Crowe is in this?
