From the first note, I knew. This is going to be a ridiculous song, throwing back to old school ‘Ye and with Pusha doing what he does best. I am kind of at a loss to describe this song, but listening to it makes me feel like it is something I have been missing for a long time; I just didn’t know it. Pusha does the first two verses, but (it should be no surprise), ‘Ye throws DOWN in the next two and even breaks out a high school-like cheer chant and says typical Kanye things like, “I’m way fresher than all my foes / Someone please pick out their clothes”. I feel like I say this every time a new G.O.O.D. Music track comes out, but this is my favorite track so far and I cannot wait for the full album to drop. If this does not get you pumped for Cruel Summer, then I don’t know what will.

Cruel Summer drops on August 7th and includes tracks from Kanye himself (including “New God Flow”), Pusha-T, John Legend, Big Sean, Kid Cudi, 2 Chainz and many, many more (just don’t expect any Drake).

It seems like ‘Ye made everyone and their mother remove the song from YouTube / SoundCloud / etc, so for now if you want to hear the track legally, you can hear it streaming on Kanye’s website.
